24th January 2012

Bonjour,

We are nearing the end of January 2012 already, hope you have started the New year in great shape.

We are now in our 3rd month of operation at Scribbly Gum and with your support we are experiencing renewed interest in Kavi's food on a daily basis and going from strength to strength.

Our monthly Themed Nights ( Usually on the last Saturday of every month) are a resounding success, and proven extremely popular.

We have been booked out now within days of announcing our Dinners, which are as you may know in a dégustation format. The next evening showcasing Mauritian Créole Cuisine on the 28th January was booked out by early January. We will exceptionally be open on a week night on Wednesday the 14 February, for another Fantastic array of Kavi's talents on Valentine's day, we still have a few seats available if you would like to join us.

The February Themed night will feature Traditional French Cuisine, will be on Saturday the 25th, and we have already taken in excess of 20 reservations, virtually reaching 50% of our seating capacity before even announcing the Menu, again we are humbled at the support shown for our restaurant. We recommend that you indicate your interest in our Themed evenings as early as possible and or reconfirm any reservations you may have made to help us manage our limited seating for these evenings.

Do consult our website www.scribblygumcafe.com.au for further updates, we look forward to your visit either for lunch during week days or for Tapas style or Dinners on Thursday and Friday evenings...

We are also proud to feature the Premium range of St Maur wines from the Southern Highlands on our Wine list as well as Award winning Certified Organic Wines from Ascella in the Hunter Valley.

We also carry an extensive range of Certified Organic Sourdough Breads from La Tartine, and serve a delicious Fig and nuts fruit bread on a daily basis.

Ending on a sweet note....
We are happy to boast about our Signature Dessert Kavi's sensational Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée, which almost every customer acknowledges by uttering ...The Best ....we have ever had.....and the latter part of this sentence has been through auto-censorship...

A Bientôt, and thank you for forwarding this news update to friends and relatives.

See you at 4 Watt Street Gosford.

Bernard, Kavi and Marie-Eve.

9th January 2012

Hello and Bonne Année 2012.
Trust this email will find you in great form at the start of this new year.

Kavi Marie-Eve and I would like to thank you for your help, advice, support and patronage over the past 2 months. We are now launching in our next phase of the Restaurant, and to that effect Kavi has a new lunch menu as from to-day, and as having been so popular ...

Kavi's Mini Desserts all home made and at only $3 will feature...

Lemon Meringues, Chocolate Mousse, Creme Brûlée, ile Flottante, Tiramisu, passion Fruit cheese cakes....

We have been often asked the question about traditional Mauritian dishes, whilst not on the Lunch Menu, Kavi will have a Plat du Jour everyday which will focus more on Mauritian and French Cuisine.

Tapas style or "Petits Plats" will feature on Friday evenings as from 5.30 p.m, and a more comprehensive Menu will also be available for Dinner on Fridays.

Our next Themed evening will be on Saturday 28th January, and we are delighted that we are almost booked out... We have to the last count 8 seats left. We would be much obliged if you could kindly reconfirm the reservations you may have already made previously, this will greatly help us manage our limited seating for our themed Night, which will be centred on French and Creole Cuisine, and offered as a Dégustation style.

We are also delighted to avail our services for External functions, work or private ones...

Do consult our Website for further updates...

A Bientôt,

Bernard
